Responsibilities

Provide support for Azure resources, focusing on PaaS and IaaS components, to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Troubleshoot and resolve environment and application-level issues in a timely and effective manner.

Work with various Azure services such as AKS, Container Registry, App Service, Load Balancer, and others.

Manage and maintain virtual machines (VMs) in both Linux and Windows environments.

Utilize automation tools like PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Terraform for streamlined operations.

Implement and maintain logging and monitoring solutions using tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, and SCOM.

Utilize Azure Recovery Services Vault and Azure Backup for data backup and restoration.

Collaborate effectively in a team environment and communicate well.

Required

Proven experience in managing and supporting Azure PaaS and IaaS resources, with a strong understanding of Azure services such as AKS, App Service, Load Balancer, Application Gateway, and others.

Experience with containerization technologies and services, including AKS and Azure Container Registry.

Proficiency in automation scripting using PowerShell and Azure CLI; experience with Terraform is a must.

Strong background in managing Linux and Windows VMs in a cloud environment.

Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex environment and application issues, with a creative and analytical approach to problem-solving.

Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, and SCOM.

Experience with Azure Recovery Services Vault and Azure Backup, including the execution of backups and the restoration of VMs and files.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Highly responsive and adaptable, with the capability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
