Responsibilities

Design and develop the AI-driven features for Windows Server, focusing on automation, natural language processing, predictive analytics, and intelligent decision-making.

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to Microsoft's coding standards and best practices.

Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.

Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and architecture design to implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Collaborate with partners to design new systems and management capabilities.

Improve existing development processes or infrastructure.

Diagnose, identify, and resolve issues that arise in customer environments and deployments.

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python + OR equivalent experience.

2+ years of experience with cloud technologies.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python + OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python + OR equivalent experience.

Competency with prompt engineering and large language models (LLM).

Good design, development, and testing skills

Problem solver with good troubleshooting skills.

Be comfortable moving up / down the stack and writing code in both managed and native languages
