Responsibilities
Develop long-term relationships with industrial engineers, architects, contractors, and builders to ensure product inclusion in specifications.
Execute sales and account strategies to exceed revenue and customer satisfaction goals.
Deliver technical presentations to various stakeholders to advance market growth.
Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop technical relationships with customers.
Assist in revising existing specifications and developing new ones to gain master specification approval.
Provide technical sales assistance to leadership and review engineering guide specifications.
Solicit new customers to increase demand for products and maintain customer database.
Travel to provide training and support, follow up on leads, and resolve installation issues with code officials.
Maintain and update sales and engineering databases, provide regular reporting to management, and track expenses.
Attend meetings, participate in local societies, and perform other duties as assigned.

Required
Proficient with computer programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, PowerPoint, SAP and SalesForce
Knowledge of codes and standards
Knowledge of specifications and how they are developed and utilized within assigned industries
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Detailed organizational skills
Solid relationship building and strategic selling skills
Ability to interpret and forecast changes in customers’ product requirements
Ability to function autonomously and as a team player
Ability to identify market dynamics and quickly define and implement well-devised competitive practices
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as unit conversions, percentages, area and volume
Ability to give presentations in front of various types and sized groups (2-50 people)
Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization, internal and external
Ability to perform with superior service, reflecting a positive company image while sustaining a positive attitude with those you interact with; always going above and beyond to help others out, regardless of their position or department
Ability to adhere to the highest standards of quality while continually performing at the highest possible level
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (Mechanical, Industrial, Civil preferred)
3+ years of advanced manufacturing and/or industrial manufacturing related experience
Driver’s License required
Preferred
Knowledge of piping industry
Professional Engineer (PE) license (strongly preferred)
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
