Responsibilities

Provides SMART customer service by executing Lowe's customer service policies and programs

Generates project leads for the Central Design Team by engaging customers in their project needs

Sets project expectations with customers during store interactions

Assists and sells countertops for customers in-store (Kitchens only)

Locates, demonstrates, selects, carries, and loads merchandise for customers

Responds to customer and employee questions promptly and knowledgeably

Communicates information to customers regarding stock, special orders, and warranty information

Supports checkout functions, call buttons, and departmental pages

Prioritizes loads, prints pricing labels, and maintains store cleanliness and organization

Maintains a safe and secure work environment by conducting safety reviews and adhering to safety requirements

Operates store equipment as needed and processes sales transactions

Coordinates and supports deliveries, inspects merchandise, and assists with product connections or returns

Ensures accurate pricing and signage displays

Keeps staff and customers safe by checking for hazards, spills, and unsafe displays

Required

6 months’ experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information

6 months’ experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets

Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law

Preferred

6 months’ sales experience identifying and selling products based on customer needs, including credit cards, installations, add-on sales, and explaining warranties, product features, and benefits

6 months’ retail experience providing customer service, including identifying and resolving customer issues, assisting customers in locating product, greeting customers, answering phones, building relationships with customers, and thanking customers for their business

Certification in a trade area related to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials)
