Responsibilities

Perform quality control testing on various state-of-the-art diagnostic test kits, components, and standards for the food and beverage industries.

Be part of a QC team dedicated to assuring the quality of these diagnostic tests for food safety.

Critically evaluate testing in process to determine the root cause of out-of-specification results and carry out appropriate follow-up as needed.

Prepare and summarize data in a timely manner for review by QC/QA management.

Ensure that lab cleanliness and safety standards are maintained at all times.

Convert Microsoft Excel documents to PDF for archiving.

Required

High School diploma

Excellent attention to detail

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Must possess a valid driver’s license for travel between three (3) local facilities.

Preferred

Understanding of basic statistics

0 to 2 years QC/QA/GMP/GLP experience

Available to work Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 AM and 5:30 PM with some flexibility.

Understanding of aseptic/sterile technique

Strong interpersonal skills

Diligent and dependable

Ability to give and receive feedback.
