Responsibilities

Analyzes vendor technology purchasing decisions, asset purchases, and forecasts future needs.

Facilitates and leads meetings with internal and external stakeholders on contract-related risks and terms.

Conducts negotiations with vendors, reviews, and analyzes various IT vendor contracts.

Assists in developing and implementing contract management policies and procedures.

Monitors and coordinates the contract approval process and conducts periodic contract audits.

Builds and maintains long-term vendor relationships, monitors vendor performance, and prepares financial reports.

Stays informed about IT market industry financial trends and optimizes vendor contract value.

Required

Bachelor's Degree; preferably in Business Administration, Legal Studies, Finance or related field.

Legal background is desired.

Five (5) years of experience as a Contract Analyst or similar role, preferably with a focus on technology.

Strong understanding of IT contracts, licensing models, and industry-standard terms and conditions or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Familiarity with legal and regulatory frameworks relevant to IT contracts

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex contractual terms and identify potential risks and opportunities.

Detail-oriented and organized, with exceptional documentation and record-keeping abilities.

Effective negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Proficiency in contract management software and MS Office Suite.

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
