Responsibilities
Responsible for leading and managing the PTL team as well as the Portfolio Operations and Program Management organizations
Accountable for delivering the Integrated Product Plan (IPP) consistent with Pfizer Oncology's Strategy and Vision through the PTLs and Global Product Teams
Work with the GPTs to deliver the R&D budget, manage opportunities for savings, and redistribute funding across programs
Lead Portfolio Operations & Program Management organizations, implementing digital and AI tools for portfolio prediction/prioritization
Partner with Oncology Commercial, BD & Commercial Development for investment opportunities and building Oncology leadership
Responsible for portfolio reporting metrics, analytics, and goal setting, in partnership with the Chief Development Officer
Implement processes for simplification across POD and Pfizer enterprise
Communicate with leadership and governance committees, address program needs, resources, and recommendations
Drive team objective setting, prioritization, and adherence to Pfizer Oncology plan and strategy
Drive risk management, issue identification, resolution, and contingency planning
Create a positive team environment, encourage challenging assumptions, and ensure clear transparent communications

Required
Demonstrated experience working on early and late-stage product development programs including regulatory filings (BLA/NDA, sBLAs/sNDAs), and product launches/life cycle management is strongly preferred
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical, academic, and/or medical research environments
Proven ability to lead and influence data-driven strategy planning and implementation
A proactive and strategic thinker, with strong decision-making skills
Experience working with corporate partners and alliance management
Proven ability to function effectively across a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders and constituents, with the ability and strength to focus a team to work towards its goals
Strong leadership and communication skills (including presentation skills) with success in influencing all levels cross-functionally
Excellent business acumen with demonstrated ability to align teams to corporate strategy to achieve business and project objectives
Strong staff management and mentoring experience and skills
Highly collaborative with outstanding relationship building skills
Experience in Oncology is required
Education: Ph.D., MD or MBA or advanced degree in biomedical sciences or one of the disciplines related to drug development
