Responsibilities
Provide software engineering support to execute Government-led Risk Management Framework processes for cybersecurity approval.
Assist in the development or review of research proposals.
Provide technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments.
Establish goals and plans that meet project objectives.
Direct and control software activities for the client using domain and technical knowledge.
Ensure financial management, methods, and staffing meet technical requirements.
Analyze Government Research Objectives and provide software designs for various systems.
Develop software components from approved designs for mobile devices, embedded systems, and computers.
Support software development, testing, and quality assurance processes.
Create and execute test plans for the evaluation of software components.
Integrate software applications with various operating systems and devices.
Integrate medical applications with communication devices to enable information transmission.
Conduct Software Code and Technical Reviews to ensure software meets research objectives and security requirements.
Support special projects as needed.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience
5+ years of related experience in software engineering
CompTIA Security+ and Computer Environment (CE) Certifications
Experience planning, coordinating, and integrating within a schedule
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Being proactive and able to work independently
Security Clearance Level: Secret
US Citizenship Required
Location: Ft. Detrick, MD
