Responsibilities
Stepping in as an interim controller, providing expert guidance and oversight for our clients' accounting operations during transitional periods
Leading and supporting system implementation projects, working closely with clients to seamlessly integrate accounting and finance software solutions
Taking on special accounting projects such as process improvements, financial analysis, cost optimization, and other exciting assignments
Preparing and analyzing financial reports, ensuring utmost accuracy, compliance, and adherence to relevant accounting standards
Conducting internal audits to evaluate internal controls, identify risks, and offer recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate financial risks
Offering expert advice on accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance, acting as a trusted advisor in complex financial matters
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal, and operations, to drive collaborative solutions and achieve project objectives
Staying up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes within the accounting and finance domain, incorporating them into project deliverables and recommendations
Contributing to the development and enhancement of best practices, methodologies, and tools utilized within our firm
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
Proven experience in accounting and finance roles, preferably in a consulting or project-based environment
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements
Proficiency in accounting software systems, along with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical skills, enabling you to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide valuable insights to clients
Exceptional project management abilities, including the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Preferred
Holding a CPA or relevant professional certification is highly desirable
