Responsibilities
Responsible for prospecting and managing sales pipeline.
Responsible for executing annual sales objectives, budgets, and project plans.
Develop relationships with customers and Manufacturers Representatives within the territory.
Maintain a detailed understanding of competitive activities and communicate recommendations in response to market conditions and trends.
Design and recommend sales and marketing programs; set short- and long-term sales strategies for the territory.
Responsible for forecasting and sales tracking, inclusive of daily sales activities within the territory.
Empowered to make decisions within the territory in partnership with functional peers.
Align commercial and operational initiatives to achieve business objectives.
Attend trade shows and customer events.
Submit regular activity/call reports concerning customer-related activities for quotes, orders, and problems concerning customer/vendor relationships.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related field.
5 or more years in outside sales in an industrial or technical sales role.
Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter, sense of urgency, personable, well organized.
Ability to demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated decision making and strategic account management.
Advanced skill with all MS Office products.
Must possess a valid Driver’s License with a safe driving record.
Must be able to travel regularly up to 70% of the time.
Preferred
Experience with Steel & Scrap recycling industries highly desirable.
