Responsibilities

Partner on the technical vision and strategy for an accurate, scalable, usable, and reliable data platform and infrastructure.

Manage a centralized data analytics team organization model, creating strong partnerships with revops, engineering, finance, and other cross-functional teams.

Collaborate on the governing principles for data access, accuracy, freshness, and quality across all data organizations at Apollo.io.

Lead and manage the Analytics Engineering, Business Intelligence, Data Science, and Product Analytics functions.

Foster a culture of action bias, product innovation, high performance, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Provide actionable business insights to product and other cross-functional leaders.

Build a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture that helps all team members feel a sense of belonging.

Partner with product leadership to influence business strategy through data-driven decision-making.

Bring customer-centricity to your teams and to all internal and external stakeholders.

Hire, retain, and scale a world-class data analytics team.

Required

Demonstrated success in building and leading the vision, strategy, and execution of data analytics initiatives.

Experience driving successful data adoption programs, with the ability to demonstrate the business impact of such initiatives.

A data-driven mindset, ensuring that everything built is measured to understand its impact on the business.

Customer centricity: a deep understanding of customer behavior and sentiment, both through data and qualitative discussions.

Highly effective communicator with excellent people instincts; able to build trust and work well with a diverse group internally and externally.

Willingness to lead in a hands-on, high-performance environment.

Organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.

High degree of humility and accountability.

Experience leading, growing, and retaining high-performance engineering leadership at the Director+ level.
