Postdoctoral Scholar
Oregon Health & Science University is dedicated to health and safety in the workplace through its Oregon Institute of Occupational Health Sciences. They are seeking a Postdoctoral Scholar to lead projects examining the interconnection between cannabis use and sleep/circadian rhythms, with responsibilities including grant writing, data management, and supervising research assistants.

Qualification
Required
Ph.D. or MD with major training in a relevant field
Experience in mammalian physiology
Experience with making measurements physiology, data analysis, and overseeing research studies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work both independently and in a small group setting
Ability to interact in a positive and productive manner with a diverse lab community
Preferred
Experience with clinical research
Experience and expertise in cardiovascular physiology
Experience with advanced statistics
Experience managing or coordinating a multi-year research project
Topical knowledge or expertise in sleep and circadian rhythms
Highly motivated and responsible
Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
Ability to be self-motivated, to prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines
