Responsibilities

Build Ad experiences and create patterns for Reddit’s official iOS app that enhance our ads’ pre-click and post-click interactions and functionality.

Collaborate across product, design, and engineering teams to innovate and implement sophisticated solutions for complex challenges.

Engage in the full iOS development cycle: design, develop, QA, experiment, analyze, and deploy.

Required

Expertise in iOS development with 7+ years of development

Minimum 3+ years of Swift development

Strong software engineering fundamentals

A willingness to tackle the challenges of creating data-intensive, highly responsive, and fault-tolerant apps within the constraints of a smartphone environment

An openness to explore innovative approaches to software development

Completed 4+ iOS development projects from ideation to deployment in production

Experience building at least multiple amazing iOS projects with a team from start to shipment

An experienced technical leader with a strong track record of mentoring and uplifting team members' technical skills and aptitude
