Responsibilities
Perform in-depth reviews and assist in preparation of financial statements for clients, including ensuring accuracy of disclosures, in accordance with GAAP and ERISA, as applicable.
Work closely with team in the management, review, oversight, and performance of audit procedures on client's financial statements, operations, and internal controls.
Conduct testing and obtain evidence to support conclusions.
Keep abreast of current accounting pronouncements, auditing guidelines, and technical updates.
Conduct research on auditing standards and EBP compliance issues.
Work with engagement director to prepare and present audit findings and recommendations.
Work with clients to ensure timely completion of the audits.
Maintain a strong working relationship with clients.
Work closely with team in the preparation and review of audit work papers, reports, and other documents.
Assist in training less experienced team members.

Required
6-8 years of public accounting audit experience, which should include a thorough understanding and experience in EBP audits.
Leadership of numerous audits across various provider platforms.
Experience with specific compliance testing in EBP audits (contributions, benefits, loans, eligibility).
Strong team player with excellent communication skills working across teams.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple audits simultaneously across multiple teams.
Preferred
For EBP audits, 11-K or large plan audit experience a plus but not required.
