Responsibilities
Conduct technical and quality assurance reviews of audit reports within desired volume of work KPI and within prescribed turnaround times
Review, evaluate and potentially reject/return audit reports that do not meet quality, accreditation, or scheme requirements back to the auditor along with reason(s) for rejection and action necessary
Accountable for maintaining open communication with management team to identify technical/quality issues or trends and provide recommendations for process improvements
Perform certificate decisions and contract reviews within desired volume of work KPI and within the prescribed turnaround time
Other duties or special projects as assigned

Required
College degree in food-related or bioscience-related discipline
Lead Auditing certification in one of the following schemes: SQF, BRC, FSSC, IFS
Must be certified or have completed course training/experience in at least two of the following schemes: SQF, BRC, FSSC, IFS
5-year work history in food industry, food handling, processing, or manufacturing
Successful completion of a 2-day (16 hour) HACCP course
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc
Preferred
2+ years of auditing experience (80 hours minimum)
Experience with ISO 17065 and/or ISO 17021
