Structural Bridge Project Manager
Benesch is a growing, multi-disciplined planning, engineering, and professional services firm. They are looking for a Structural Bridge Project Manager to manage bridge and transportation design projects, mentor junior staff, and contribute to strategic growth initiatives in the Kansas/Missouri Division.

Responsibilities
Serve as project manager on bridge and transportation design projects
Create and execute project work plans including developing project scope, schedule and budget estimates
Manage project teams, accountable for budget and schedule
Mentor junior staff
Contribute to Kansas Division strategic growth initiatives
Champion relationships with key clients, including KDOT and/or MoDOT
Represent Benesch at industry and professional engagement events
Ability to identify opportunities and lead strategic project pursuits
Identifying resources needed and effectively delegating staff duties and responsibilities
Create and Execute project work plans
Serve as the primary interface between the clients and staff for a given project
Coordinate, monitor, and review work performed by sub‐consultants
Promote the team environment and communication and identify and address team conflicts
Networking, including active participation in and leadership of professional organizations
Qualification
Required
BS in Civil Engineering or related discipline
Registered Engineer in Kansas and/or Missouri
A track record of adhering to design budgets and project schedules
Excellent communication and client relation skills
Strong understanding and familiarity with steel/concrete design software
Practice good time management skills, demonstrating the ability to work efficiently within time constraints while dealing with numerous concurrent activities
Willingness to travel to project/work sites as necessary
Preferred
Minimum of 7+ years of bridge design experience including project management responsibility preferred
Proven experience on KDOT or MoDOT bridge projects preferred
Seller/Doer mentality, client interaction experience a plus
Experience with bridge inspection, including completed NHI training a plus
