Responsibilities

Developing detailed designs of urban and rural roadways from preliminary to final design
Collaborating with team members, communities, and stakeholders to define data needs, project requirements, and outputs to develop applications
Compiling and coordinating plans, specifications, cost estimates, and pay items
Supporting studies and alternative analysis to determine best solutions to meet compliance and client goals
Working with various disciplines and reviewers to ensure complete, accurate, and high-quality deliverables
Contribute to proposal development
Managing small projects, project tasks, and assisting Project Managers in overall large project delivery
Manage and maintain project documentation

Required

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, or higher, is required
Ability to work and collaborate in a team environment on challenging projects
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to develop task deliverables in a complete and reviewable manner
Experience working with Local and State public agency clients (Public Works, DOTs, etc.)
Proficient with ORD design software
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred

Kansas and/or Missouri Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain upon hire
Project experience in transportation engineering design
