Responsibilities
Align solutions to the customer’s goals, needs and objectives
Provide consultation and training to customers and team members
Interpret specifications and build solutions to those specifications
Develop strategies and hardware/software solutions in a logical, creative, and structured manner that will help customers solve complex problems
Collaborate with customers, cross-functional teams, and subject matter experts to identify and frame compelling solutions
Interact with customers to execute the technical aspects of the strategy
Multi-task and work efficiently in a team setting on critical projects to successful completion
Exercise judgement in developing and implementing methods and techniques to obtain desired results following industry best practices
Deliver right-sized technology solutions/services within the allocated budget
Provide expert technical support
Develop technical documentation
Stay current on latest technologies and methods
Regularly interact and build relationships with senior management, customers, and business partners
Support development of proposals in response to Request for Proposals (RFPs)
Support business development and marketing initiatives by meeting with customers and prospective customers, attending industry events, and giving presentations
Mentor solutions engineers and solutions analysts by developing, coaching and growing team members through continuous learning
Supervise staff, as assigned
Provide performance feedback to solutions engineering staff and/or supervisors of staff
Operate independently
Comply with all KCI policies and procedures
Complete other duties as required/assigned

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field is required. Experience may be substituted for degree.
Minimum eight years of experience as a Solutions Engineer or similar role
Minimum five years of experience in a consulting role
Expertise in the implementation planning, configuration, testing and training of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as Cityworks, Lucity, Maximo, VUEWorks, Cartegraph or other modern-day solutions required.
Strong problem-solving skills
Self-motivated
Team player with demonstrated experience working constructively on multi-disciplinary teams
Ability to work independently and produce high-quality deliverables without excessive oversight and instruction
Strong organizational and time-management skills

Preferred
Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field is preferred.
Knowledge of Esri cloud, desktop, web and mobile product lines preferred.
