Responsibilities
Regularly performs and conducts all the duties of a TC Research Technician II and/or TC Supervisor (refer to Job Descriptions).
Responsible for all proposals and designs for any experimental research project on pertinent subjects and the coordination for completion of projects with other supervisors and/or research technicians in the TC labs.
Coordinates with the media prep team, all documentation for all media formulas, SOPs for making media and stocks for media, training on making any new media formulation and ensuring new formulations are documented and communicated to media prep team, supervisors, and managers for TC labs.
Coordinates the collection of information and data to facilitate research projects. Ensures timely presentation of research projects and the findings on all projects/accomplishments to Supervisors/Managers/TC Research Technicians.
Analyzes all experimental data using statistical methods and software tools, interprets results and draws meaningful conclusions to guide further research, drafts reports, and presents findings on a regular basis and present findings on a regular basis.
Responsible for developing SOPs related to improving current plant micropropagation techniques or developing advanced micropropagation techniques including but not limited to seed, embryo, meristem, callus, cell or anther culture in liquid and/or solid media and training of Lab team members on any new SOPs related to such techniques.

Required
Requires at least a Master's degree in either Cellular Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Horticulture, Plant Biology, Genomics, Biotechnology or related field.
Requires 3+ years of relevant lab work experience depending on educational qualifications and technical expertise.
Demonstrated advanced knowledge of tissue culture and media prep techniques and/or molecular and cell biology skills.
Demonstrated excellence of good laboratory practices.
Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office, and databases.
Educational background in experimental design and statistical analyses.
Ability to be highly organized, have a high attention to detail, manage multiple projects and update stakeholders on a routine basis.
