Parkland Medical Center is committed to providing quality healthcare services and is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech PRN. The role involves utilizing medical, technical, and administrative skills to support the patient care team, participating in the development of care plans, and performing various technical duties related to cardiac and vascular testing.

Responsibilities

Participates in the development of the plan of care for patients undergoing invasive diagnostic cardiac and vascular testing or intervention

Performs scrub and monitoring duties utilizing all aspects of catheterization equipment

Applies prescribed procedure for operation of radiology imaging equipment; including storing of images, burning CDs, archiving, calculates ejection fraction from LV gram

Observes and ensures radiation safety for patients and staff members

Operates MAC LAB hemodynamic monitoring system

Performs patient setup, scrubs and pans for various coronary and peripheral diagnostic and/or interventional procedures

Required

RCIS or R.T. (R) (ARRT); NH Medical Imaging License required

Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Preferred

Minimum one to two years of cath lab experience preferred
