Responsibilities

Perform material handling task with forklifts of various sizes and large equipment operation

Plumbing: All plumbing repairs or upgrades in kitchens, labs, restrooms, office areas

Sewer Systems: To include Sewage Ejectors, Lift Stations

Compressors: To include repair/replacement and PM’s

Eye Wash Units: Testing and PMs on Plant Eye Wash Stations

Shop/Lab Equipment: PM & Repairs to Shop/Lab equipment on site

Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair on floors, walls, ceilings, doors, windows, furniture, cabinets, shelves, tables, kitchen equipment, and minor roof repair

Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on mechanical components including but not limited to fire protection sprinkler systems, air lines, pumps, motors and valves

Required

Valid driver's license

Ability to operate forklift and large equipment in a safe and productive manner with 1 year of experience

Experience using basic computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook/email, etc.)

High school graduate or GED equivalent or equivalent

Demonstrated interpersonal skills with customers, vendors, management and supporting personnel

Experience performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on mechanical components in an industrial or commercial application

Ability to have Nuclear Plant Access and Radiation worker clearance

Ability to work with minimal supervision in a safe and productive manner

Proficient in the use of manufacturers manuals, drawings, and procedures
