Responsibilities

You will assure complete and accurate registration of laboratory accounts in a timely manner according to policy and procedures in compliance with regulatory requirements

You will verify of registration data and insurance eligibility to facilitate prompt reimbursement and reduce potential claims denial

You will maintain laboratory requisitions and supporting documentation in an organized system

You will review error, admit and lab-default reports on a daily basis, completing required billing elements and ensuring all laboratory requisitions have been reviewed for accurate registration

You will respond to requests from patient Services, Patient Accounts, physicians and patients for information, supporting documentation and record retrieval

You will contact referring physicians, insurance companies and/or patients to obtain necessary missing, incomplete or regulatory information
