Responsibilities
Lead and perform electrical design for municipal infrastructure projects with the ability to work independently and lead a team
Conduct design computations, prepare cost estimates, bills of material, construction drawings, and other supporting engineering documentation
Participate in client meetings to gather requirements, provide updates, resolve technical challenges, and ensure design solutions align with stakeholder goals
Collaborate with discipline engineers, senior designers, and principal staff to develop and refine project design packages
Review and quality-check design drawings to ensure technical accuracy, compliance with standards, and alignment with client expectations
Oversee assigned tasks to ensure all project components remain within defined scope, budget, and schedule
Qualification
Required
6+ years of technical training in design and drafting
Strong, hands-on proficiency with Revit for daily design and modeling tasks
High attention to detail with strong organizational and documentation skills
Basic experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation
Working knowledge of NFPA codes 72, 101, 110
Strong working knowledge of the NEC
Strong lighting design and the use of tools such as DIALux or Agi32
Knowledge of IBC and energy codes
Must possess exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
Must be able to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred
Professional Engineering (PE) license highly preferred
