Responsibilities

Ensure facility control systems are operating safely, reliably, efficiently

Provide troubleshooting and support of the daily manufacturing operation

Provide guidance to manufacturing operations on selection and implementation of process control technologies and strategies

Optimize existing control strategies to more efficiently create our products

Assist designing, programming, modifying, and maintaining mills’ control systems

Pursue engineering solutions to resolve equipment deficiencies

Support control migrations, design, and startup of existing and new systems

Required

Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering OR Related technical degree with 5+ years of experience working within a continuous manufacturing operation

5+ years of professional experience working with DCS or PLC based systems to include troubleshooting, configuration, and design

Ability to travel approximately 50-75%

The candidate must live in one of the following the states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, or Tennessee

Preferred

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Chemical, Electrical, or Paper Science Engineering

Experience working in the pulp and paper industry

5 or more years of professional experience working with DCS and PLC based control systems to include troubleshooting, configuration, and design

Experience with Honeywell TDC and Experion or Emerson Delta-V
