Responsibilities
Develop novel ways to help business partners achieve objectives through analysis and modelling
Identify and test new sources of information that unlock new business value
Curate and connect external data sets for broad enterprise-wide analytic usage
Engineer features by using your business acumen to bin, aggregate, pivot or encode data for optimal results
Utilize machine learning to create repeatable, dynamic, and scalable models
Advocate and educate on the value and importance of data driven decision making and analytical methods
Identify and develop long-term data science processes, frameworks, tools, and standards
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in data science, Computer Science, Engineering, Math or Statistics or related field
One (1) year of experience in the job offered or in a related position in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry
One (1) year of experience in statistical analysis, machine learning, modeling, hypothesis testing, clustering, and data mining techniques to identify trends and insights
Experience with Python, R (Rshiny, dataframes, GGplot, Distributed Computing), Github and Tableau
Experience incorporating multiple data sources in analyses (HDFS, file, database, JSON, HTML, etc)
Experience writing SQL queries
Experience loading data into GCP, doing data transformations with BigQuery and building models using vertex AI
Experience working with CPG data from sources like Nielsen and IRI
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate and implement data-driven solutions
Experience merging and transforming disparate internal & external data sets together to create new features
