Responsibilities

Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure

Follow all safety protocols and standards to protect patients and staff

Perform a wide range of X-ray procedures to support radiologists in diagnosis

Accurately record patient data, manage billing and coding, and ensure all images meet quality standards

Perform routine equipment maintenance and cleaning, report any malfunctions, and follow disinfectant guidelines to keep everything sterile

Required

Graduate of an approved accredited program of Radiologic Technology

CPR certified

ARRT(R) registered or eligible

Kentucky KBMIRT Radiation Operator's License - Radiography (Temporary or Permanent)

Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) License (Radiologic Technologist or Radiology Student Permit)

Excellent understanding of radiation protection of patients, peers, and self

Competence in routine, fluoroscopic, surgical and trauma radiography

Adequate clinical experience from an approved program
