Responsibilities
Work with SDRs to determine business vertical and prospect profile for prospecting. Engage with potential customers and positioning Backblaze products and solutions to fit their needs
Work hand in hand with prospects through the sales cycle from discovery to solution presentation and close.
Work cohesively with Sales Engineers, Legal teams, product engineers and marketing teams. Work and engage face to face with customers on site.
Manage multiple customer engagements and interactions simultaneously while keeping detailed records in SalesForce.
Show value and relevance through long term sales cycles and the ability to close
Engage with Technology Alliance partners to create strategic partnerships that will drive revenue growth through co-solution selling

Required
6 years of cloud storage/Saas sales environment or equivalent sales experience
Motivated Learner and adaptable
Self starter and motivator
Creative thinker and willing contributor of ideas
History of exceeding Revenue or profitability numbers.
Strong Communication skills written and verbal.
Deep understanding of sales processes and sales cycles.
Experience and ability to carry conversations at C and Executive levels
Physically located in the Northeastern US preferred
Preferred
Direct experience in the Cloud storage industry.
Having a technical background to support the sales ability.
Knowledge of Enterprise Cloud storage agreements
