Responsibilities
Performing on-site service needs at customer facilities in accordance with company policies and procedures
Troubleshooting, repairing and programing lighting and control systems to determine nature of issue and resolving customer issues
Acting as an Acuity Technical Resource for our customers and internal engineering teams
Preparing necessary field reports upon completion of service visits
Providing on-site customer trainings

Required
Degree in electrical engineering, or a related discipline
Electrical and mechanical aptitude related to lighting and controls
2+ years of field experience in an electrical and mechanical background
Valid US driver’s licenses and passport
Proficient with the use of Microsoft Windows operating systems and able to read electrical schematics
Demonstrates successful experiences in collaborating with cross-functional teams and customers
Able to work well independently and with others
Able to effectively communicate solutions, responding to customers questions and other personnel
Strong initiative with a “make-it-happen” mindset for finding the right resolution
Lift and carry 75 lbs. frequently
Stand, walk, stoop or kneel to perform the essential job functions
Work at up to heights of 100’ using ladders, lift equipment as required
Work in a variety of conditions outside and indoor elements
Operate hand and power tools
Required travel approximately 80%
Flexibility in work schedules as required
