Responsibilities
Quickly become a Ferris product subject matter expert, being proficient in explaining features and benefits of Ferris products and performing demonstrations to the end users.
Generate leads through various sites including Instagram & Facebook generating interest with landscapers and developing conversations that result in a demonstration.
Drive a pickup truck and landscape trailer with Ferris equipment to the locations that the end user agrees to and let the customer experience the Ferris product first hand by using it on familiar turf.
Work directly with our Ferris dealers and develop a relationship with them to gain territory knowledge and competitive industry insights. Assisting your Ferris dealers with sales & open house events.
Participate in various external events, i.e trade shows and fairs to support the Ferris brand and products.
Conduct training at the Ferris dealerships teaching new employees features & benefits of the Ferris products as well as company programs, process and procedures.
Analyze market data to pinpoint opportunities in assigned territory to maximize prospecting efforts and develop strategies on how Ferris performs against the competition.
Attend the National Sales Meeting in Milwaukee at the Briggs & Stratton Headquarters annually to meet and develop relationships with key stakeholders.
Attend regional meetings in various company locations when required.

Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field OR equivalent education and experience
Minimum one year of related experience in sales, customer service, retail or related field
Valid Driver's License
Ability to become DOT certified upon hire
Able to safely load, secure, and operate a variety of company trailers on a regular basis
Preferred
Previous experience in landscaping industry
Social media savvy
Good written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with a diverse group of people.
Computer skills to include Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Ability to work independently and possess solid organizational skills
Possesses the desire to continuously improve through training
Ability to manage business schedule and territory travel effectively
