They are seeking a Project Engineer to join their land development team in North Carolina, responsible for creating project work plans, obtaining permits, and collaborating with stakeholders on diverse land development projects.

Responsibilities
Create and execute project work plans
Interacting with clients, agencies, and other project stakeholders
Represent Benesch at industry and professional engagement events
Organize calculations to be included in design files, following project standards
Design and Engineer various project elements
Obtain project permits and all applicable approvals
Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
Assist in the construction administration process as needed
Qualification
Required
A minimum of 4 years of diverse and progressive site development experience
Licensed PE in the state of NC
4-year undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent
Experience working with public agencies, private entities and/or local area governmental jurisdictions
Progressive experience with developing plans specifications, and submissions per development regulatory standards and requirements
Excellent communication and client relation skills
Strong organizational skills with a track record for adhering to design budgets and schedules
Ability to work independently and develop task deliverables in a complete and reviewable manner
Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater modeling software
