Responsibilities

Manage one major summer project on their own in a process engineering role

Carry out the project within a team of process engineers that support regional or global Unilever business groups

Scaling up breakthrough technologies in a major consumer product

Resolving manufacturing quality issues

Modeling processing data at both the pilot and factory scale

Learn chemical processing principles and product measurement methods

Apply statistical experimental design and modeling tools to specific needs

Run pilot-scale batches of formulations

Perform their own characterization using rheology measurements and other industry standard measurements

Plan experiments, analyze their data using statistical and graphical tools, and generate predictive models

Generate input and incorporate feedback from a cultivated network of technical experts
