Responsibilities

Establish product line strategy in collaboration with those responsible for complimentary lines of business.

Direct implementation of product enhancements including rating algorithm, policy language, back-end system, and front-end system changes.

Serve as a product line expert, maintain a thorough knowledge of product features and benefits, and provide product expertise to various internal and external audiences.

Conduct research and analysis on legal issues, competitor products, market needs, and emerging issues to ensure competitiveness and legal compliance.

Lead product analysts and managers aiming for high morale and technical competency.

Manage rate, form, rule regulatory filings and maintain good working relationships with regulators.

Communicate product changes to other departments and assist with product training.

Design and maintain procedure and product documentation.

Coordinate or provide guidance on the quality assurance and process improvement efforts.

Prepare/present various reports/publication over product features and issues.

Create and maintain strong, positive working relationships with other departments.
