Responsibilities
This position requires significant experience in electric utility transmission and distribution (T&D) line systems engineering and design.
Specifically, we are looking for a Transmission Line Engineer to provide outstanding technical leadership to our team, engaged in transmission and distribution system design for major utility clients.
Performs all design aspects for high voltage and EHV Overhead Transmission line projects including line routing, structure knowledge and line analysis.
Knowledge of insulator and hardware selection, conductor wire selection and technical support for customer.
Keenly focused on the production of high-quality work and supports continuous improvement efforts.
Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects.

Required
Significant experience in electric utility transmission and distribution (T&D) line systems engineering and design.
Outstanding technical leadership to the team, engaged in transmission and distribution system design for major utility clients.

Preferred
Master Engineering degree or Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in T&D. Electrical knowledge of transmission lines a plus!
Knowledge of common engineering application software, particularly tools such as PLS-CAD, SAG10, ETAP, and PowerWorld, and knowledge and understanding of engineering standards such as NESC, IEEE, ASTM, ANSI, and other relevant standards that apply to transmission design.
Demonstrated leadership experience in a technical group.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to develop and monitor a schedule to support engineering deliverables to support project development and support of the Business Development group.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to travel occasionally to support projects.
