Responsibilities
Cover outpatient and inpatient needs for the Transplant Service Line
Collaborate closely with the Clinical Director of Network Development and Outreach for the Transplant Service Line
Assist in building strong referring relationships for the Rush Solid Organ Transplant program
Maintain exceptional patient care and excellent quality outcomes
Qualification
Required
Strong commitment to patient care
Strong commitment to resident education
Strong commitment to research
Board certified/eligible in both transplant hepatology and gastroenterology
Eligible for faculty appointment at the assistant professor level or above
Experience in clinical hepatology and liver transplantation
Strong interest and successful track record in establishing referring provider relationships for liver transplant
Deep desire and proven expertise in growth strategies for Liver Transplant programs
Preferred
Interest or experience in alcohol use disease order
