Responsibilities
Responsible for using knowledge of programming languages to code websites and web applications, including communicating with clients to determine their needs and design preferences, creating code for the front and back end of a website, and running tests to ensure that they used the correct code strings
Highly collaborative, a fast learner, and willing to work wherever you’re needed on the team
You will be responsible for the end-to-end development of web applications, from gathering requirements and designing the interface, to architecting and implementing both the data model and the interface
You’ll be expected to take a concept into a working prototype, to a production app in short periods of time
You will be working alongside a global team of software engineers, with many opportunities to collaborate while also maintaining complete ownership of your own projects
Qualification
Required
3+ years of end-to-end development experience, including deploying and monitoring production-grade web applications, preferably experience at a small startup
Undergraduate degree in software engineering or a related field, equivalent training and experience
Solid experience in backend development with technologies in Java and Spring Boot
Experience with tools like Neo4j, Redis, Elastic search, Metabase
Experience with both relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB)
Experience with infrastructure technologies, including AWS (EC2), Nginx
Experience in connecting web applications with third-party services like Okta, Strip
Experience in building SSO and third party login system
Spring: 2 years (Required)
Spring Boot: 2 years (Required)
English (Required)
Ability to Relocate: Irvine, CA 92618: Relocate before starting work (Required)
Preferred
Experience with JavaScript and associated framework
Experience with React and common libraries such as redux, react-router, ant design
Hand-on experience in converting Figma UI design to high-quality component
Fluent in English and Chinese
