Responsibilities
Work with Sales Leadership to ensure the Commercial function has the necessary tools and resources to maintain/increase productivity, streamline data collection, and close rate effectiveness.
Continuously work to improve the effectiveness of the Business Development team, including providing visibility into data, optimizing sales processes, training the team on best practices, and ensuring sales data integrity.
Assist with the onboarding, training, and support of Business Development team members including comprehensive training plans, management of a commercial knowledge base, implementation and adoption of best practices, and providing enablement metrics (i.e., win/loss analysis and optimization).
Manage CRM (Salesforce) and commercial tools (ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.) to ensure they are optimized and used effectively.
Provide executive reporting packages to Sales Leadership and the Sr. Leadership Team on a weekly and monthly basis.
Deliver ad-hoc reporting as needed/required.
Work with Sales Leadership to manage account effectiveness: monitoring pharma and life sciences new and daily updates, and making the Business Development team members aware of any activity in their accounts (i.e. series funding, regulatory approvals by phase, etc.).

Required
Bachelor’s degree required.
1-3 years of sales or commercial operations experience.
Strong proficiency and advanced working knowledge of Salesforce, CRM, Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau required.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with varying levels of internal and external personnel.
Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and quality; ability to balance attention to detail while maintaining focus on the big picture.
Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
