Responsibilities

Analyzes market potential of assigned product sales.
Works with, assists, and directs company agents assigned within respective territory to maximize divisional growth and broaden product awareness.
Prospects and qualifies new company agents and aftermarket customers as required in collaboration with Divisional management.
Learns and understand customer's long and short-term goals and objectives.
Work closely with Sales, Marketing and Customer Service organization to present a common "face" to the customer and continuously recognize new sales opportunities.
Serve as the major vehicle of communication between the customer and the Company.
Communicate and support the company's position in relation to competitive products, quality, sales tactics and pricing.
Assists Wholesale Management personnel in the planning and implementation of strategies to promote the sales of products and supplies.
Works closely with the transaction department to resolve disputes and lower transaction costs.
Support all Division policies, programs, and control procedures as defined by the Division.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Required

Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
Must have experience in commercial refrigeration.
Requires advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with several years of applicable experience.
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience.
The majority of time is spent overseeing the design, implementation or delivery of processes, programs and policies using specialized knowledge and skills typically acquired through advanced education (3-4 year University degree).
Field sales experience in a business to business environment or other sales channel.
Managing or influencing the activities of a field sales force or agents.
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.
Demonstrated ability to work well with others is a matrix team environment.
Strong presentation skills.
Advanced mathematical skills including the ability to calculate discounts and percentages.
Requires self-motivation and little or no supervision.
Strong analytical and reasoning skills--ability define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Must have ability to create demand for and sell products, and develop, maintain and solidify good will and customer relations.
Must be capable of traveling extensively.
Must be willing to reside in or relocate to account zone.

Preferred

Experience in customer call/direct sales in the geographical location of the position preferred.
