Responsibilities

Build great user experiences that make it easy for customers to easily link to a wide variety of streaming and batch data sources (such as Kafka and S3); extract, transform, load, and manage billions of rows of data; and gain insights into the health and performance of data management tasks

Partner with both product and cross-functional teams to build, scale, and implement elegant application infrastructure solutions that scale and are built with enterprise-class operational excellence

Drive operational excellence to ensure the team is able to respond quickly and efficiently if any incident were to occur

Participate in on-call rotations, post-incident reviews, and other operational duties as needed to ensure service delivery quality

Required

2+ years of experience building and shipping production quality frontend components in JavaScript (or TypeScript)

Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.js (we use React)

Strong communication skills: ability to explain complex technical concepts to designers, support staff, and other engineers

Preferred

Experience with CI/CD

Experience building data applications that have processed large amounts of data

Familiarity with Druid or another large scale OLAP database

Have a cool data app to demo that you’ve built
