Responsibilities

Lead the accounting department operations, controls, and compliance

Review monthly general ledger account activity, accruals, reconciliations and compliance with accounting principles

Lead the monthly & annual close, facilitate the audit, & tax return compliance

Manage the financial integration of acquired entities including, but not limited to transitioning billing, banking, vendor information, GL/Financial Reporting, etc.

Assist in financial reporting, analysis & budgeting

Proactively manage, improve, and streamline financial systems, ERP systems, and operational processes that can be optimized or automated for increased efficiency and accuracy

Provide training, mentoring, and development to accounting staff to ensure the function operates at maximum performance levels

Serve as a key accounting technician to research various accounting issues and new accounting standards

Ad hoc requests, including leading and/or participating in cross-functional teams to drive financial and operational improvements throughout the organization

Required

At least 7+ years of public and/or private accounting experience required, including leadership and team management at a senior level

Acquisitions and Integrations experience required

Highly Proficient in Excel (Data Manipulation & Navigation, Pivot Tables, V&H-Lookups, etc.)

Recent Experience working with a company with at least 400 employees required

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or similar course of study required

CPA designation required

Preferred

Experience working in a private equity owned company preferred

Knowledge of Sage Intacct preferred
