Water/Wastewater Project Engineer
Garver is an employee-owned engineering firm focused on water and wastewater services, seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to join their Texas Water team. The Project Engineer will be responsible for the design of various water and wastewater projects, ensuring client expectations are exceeded while maintaining innovative and cost-effective solutions.

Responsibilities
Performing design for a variety of projects, such as:
Water conveyance and distribution including pump stations and storage facilities
Wastewater conveyance and collection including pumping/lift stations and force mains
Water and wastewater treatment plants
Improvements and retrofitting of existing facilities
Water, wastewater and reuse master planning
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in civil, biological, chemical, mechanical, or environmental engineering from an ABET accredited program
2+ years experience related to design of municipal water/wastewater conveyance and/or treatment systems
Registered as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or able to obtain in the next 6 months
Preferred
Master's degree in civil, biological, chemical, mechanical, or environmental engineering from an ABET accredited program
Microstation, GIS, WaterCAD, or SewerCAD experience
Strong communications skills
Ability to work independently with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook
