Responsibilities

Learn Molina business and protocol for provider network administration, including service and contracting.
Learn our network management tools such as Quest and QNXT platforms for network adequacy and oversight of provider network data.
Work closely with team and management to ensure adherence to system maintenance and regulatory requirements.
Support contracting ‘lifecycle’ by participating in negotiations (as support staff), reviewing contracts, analyzing PADU (preferred, acceptable, discouraged, unacceptable) terms.
Support provider meetings and preparation, including JOC’s (Joint Operating Committee)

Required

Must reside in Michigan
Candidate must currently be enrolled in an undergraduate program as a current freshman or sophomore with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher and pursuing a Bachelor's degree with preference in the following areas – Healthcare Administration or Management, Business Administration, Health Informatics, Public Administration
Candidate must possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
Must possess clear and professional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and ability to develop relationships
Good time management, organizational and interpersonal skills required
Computer experience including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint and experience with internet research
Excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills
Ability to handle confidential information
Ability to maintain confidentiality and to comply with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
