Responsibilities
Be a technical leader in the scientific development of recommendation system that will enable users to discover new educational items
Work within multiple subdomains of the larger problem set (serve recommendations across multiple mediums or item types)
Build machine learning models, perform proof-of-concept, experiment, optimize, and deploy your models into production; work closely with software engineers to assist in productionizing your ML models
Conduct A/B experiments, gather data, and perform statistical analysis
Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for large-scale data analysis, machine-learning model development, model validation and serving.
Experience working on recommender systems such as in e-commerce, advertising, music, video or other fields.

Experience working on recommender systems such as in e-commerce, advertising, music, video or other fields.
Experience in any of the following areas: recommendations, language models, information retrieval, search, relationship representations (embeddings, graph networks), NLP, similarity analysis
3+ years of building machine learning models for business application experience
Experience in Python
PhD, or Master's degree and 4+ years of CS, CE, ML or related field experience
Ability to develop machine learning platform strategy in the subdomain of recommender systems for media and , sdlc
