Samaritan's Purse is seeking a Senior Information Technology Auditor to support the development of their IT audit function. This role is vital in ensuring systems and processes meet internal standards, align with policies and regulations, and support accurate reporting, focusing primarily on the technology that equips their ministry.

Responsibilities

Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him

Work under the direction of the Director of Internal Audit to design and build the Information Technology Audit Function for the Ministry, defining the audit universe related to IT

Conduct technology, financial, and operational audits of the various functions of areas of Samaritan's Purse in alignment with the audit plan

Prepare written reports with comprehensive summaries and recommendations of audits for the Audit Committee, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Board Consultants, and appropriate management

Assist in executing a comprehensive audit plan for Samaritan's Purse, using risk assessment to determine the level of detail and frequency of audits and reviews of the various organization functions

Review audit issues with the management of the audited area and the Chief Financial Officer to evaluate plans to implement corrective action

Required

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university in Computer Science, Management Information systems, Accounting, Business, or a related field

Comprehensive knowledge of auditing networking, infrastructure/ perimeter security, authentication controls, endpoint security, development security, incident response, disasters reverify, and vendor/third party management

Strong communication skills- written and verbal. Ability to build trust with teams

Comfortable working closely with people at all levels of management and the Board of Directors, at times in stressful situations displaying integrity, discernment, sound judgment, and confidentiality

Strong Microsoft Office Skills, with advanced knowledge of Excel

Fluency in English (required)

Preferred

Preferred Certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information System Auditor (CISA), or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), GIAC, GCCC, GCIH, ISA
