Responsibilities

Assists with managing the social media calendar to ensure timely and relevant content delivery
Acts as a communications liaison with the Falcon Force student content creator program, scheduling meetings, organizing files, and coordinating correspondence
Contributes to posting approved content onto our various platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter) in a timely and engaging manner
Collaborates with our publications lead on gathering newsworthy content to keep up with campus news and ensure our social media presence is informative and relevant
Responsible for other reasonable, related duties as assigned

Required

Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be enrolled at LSC-CyFair a minimum of six hours college credit or pursuing a certificate for the Fall and Spring semesters
Must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
Must maintain good academic and disciplinary standing

Preferred

Strong understanding of social media platforms: Proficiency in using platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills: Ability to craft engaging and informative content
Creative and innovative thinking: Capacity to generate fresh and interesting ideas
Knowledge of social media analytics: Understanding of tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or Facebook Meta Business Suite to track and analyze performance
Basic graphic design skills: Familiarity with tools like Canva or Adobe Photoshop is a plus
Understanding of SEO and content marketing: Knowledge of optimizing content for search engines and attracting the target audience
