Responsibilities

Handling the vertical case load of felony cases involving investigating possible bias cases and prosecuting of hate crimes
Working extensively with members of the NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force
Conducting community outreach to impacted groups and educating members of the public and law enforcement on hate crime prosecution

Required

J.D. degree
Active member of the New York State bar in good standing
At least 4 years of experience as a prosecutor
Substantial grand jury and felony trial experience

Strong organization, written and oral skills
United States citizenship
New York State residency
