Responsibilities
Work on a newly funded National Institute of Health R01 project examining the influence of state-level economic security policies on maternal mental health.
Conduct data management analysis in one of the federally designated restricted data centers.
Analyze large-scale quantitative and multi-level data sets.
Conduct legal research to identify, collect, catalog, and code policies.
Engage in maternal and child health related research.
Demonstrate organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
Collaborate as part of a large multi-disciplinary team.
Clean and analyze large-scale and survey data in Stata.
Participate in manuscript writing, preparation and submission.
Engage in community engaged research.
Utilize mixed-methods research.

Required
PhD in Public Health, Population Health, Economics, Demography, Sociology, or a related field.
Experience analyzing large-scale quantitative and multi-level data sets.
Experience in maternal and child health, sexual and reproductive health, and/or social policy research.
Data analysis skills using Stata, R, SAS, or similar statistical software.
Advanced quantitative data analysis skills.
Manuscript writing, preparation and submission.
Experience with large and/or complex datasets.
Good interpersonal and oral/written communication skills.
One or more scientific publications (first-authored).
Experience with community engaged research.
Experience with mixed-methods research.
Preferred
Experience cleaning and analyzing large-scale and survey data in Stata.
