Responsibilities

Prepare and assist in the review of Sales & Use, Excise and Personal Property Tax Returns, Business Licenses, and coordinate payments ensuring accuracy and managing deadlines

Preparation of state tax estimates and extensions

Maintain corporate compliance calendar

Respond to inquiries from state tax authorities.

Validate customer exemption certificates and issue certificates to vendors

Serve as a principal contact for Indirect Tax inquiries

Prepare and review state tax refund requests

Prepare state income tax apportionment workpapers.

Research taxability of customers and products

Assist with other non-recurring domestic compliance or planning projects as they arise
