Responsibilities

Develop and execute customer acquisition and penetration strategies to grow Viking share in US region.
Cultivate strong relationships with key external stakeholders, including customers, partners, and influencers, to enhance Viking’s brand and position in the US Hygienic space.
Develop and implement effective and relevant channels to market for Hygienic sales growth in the US.
Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement measures to drive profitable growth.
Collaborate with internal teams, providing market and customer insights, product and service inputs, and routes/channel to market ideas to support sales growth targets.
Proactively leverage 80/20 principles with focus on high impact activities that significantly contribute to sales success, by identifying and prioritizing key customers, strategic initiatives, and impactful projects.
Conduct continuous market monitoring (e.g. trends, customer needs, competitive dynamics); proactively communicate with internal teams; develop/adjust go-to-market and product strategies where appropriate.
Provide the company with new product and service ideas; champion sales growth strategies; and provide market and customer insights to new product development and marketing teams.
Ability to interpret customer VOC and relate relevant information to cross-functional teams to evaluate business opportunities, drive product improvements and process changes.
Utilize CRM and sales funnel to manage, measure, and communicate sales activities, progress, and results.
Ability to contact end customers via multiple channels (cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, targeted prospecting, lead generation etc.) to drive business development and build relationships with key customers.

Required

B.S or B.A. in Marketing, Industrial Technology, Engineering, or 10+ years of Hygienic sales.
Proven history developing new business, sales channels, and customers to significantly drive growth.
Highly proficient in market mapping and analyzing trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
Critical thinking and decision-making: demonstrated capacity for independent thought and critical thinking.
Sound judgment guides calculated risks for long-term value creation. Makes decisions with conviction.
Drive for results; self-starter who can manage multiple projects and activities end to end.
Capability and willingness to 'roll-up' sleeves to achieve results; in a persistent and resilient way to work through obstacles.
Proficient in negotiating and closing deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements with customers.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to establish and maintain strong connections with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
Innovative thinking to implement creative and resourceful tactics for exceeding targets.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with customers and teams.
Team player and collaborator; demonstrated examples of working effectively in a cross-functional, matrixed environment.
Ambiguity tolerance: able to navigate in the gray; can make forward progress without the whole picture.
Self-motivated, excellent organizational skills, planning skills and presentation skills.
Computer skills including CRM programs.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Willingness to travel, including +50% overnight stay.
Ability to move within office and manufacturing complex, write by hand and keyboard and perform general office functions.
Ability to communicate by speech and hearing via phone and in person.
Visual acuity needed for close detail work and computer use.
General manufacturing, warehouse and office environment.
Must have the ability to effectively communicate with customers, suppliers and all levels of corporate and company personnel.
