Responsibilities

Providing leadership to evaluate and implement appropriate predictive and preventative maintenance strategies and techniques to reach a world class reliability program.

Directing the Predictive Maintenance (PDM) team in their daily activities, outlining equipment and systems to be evaluated using vibration, ultrasonic and thermographic tools.

The responsibility and authority to initiate and record actions related to Food Safety.

Review PDM analysis results together with the PDM team and liaise with applicable teams to plan remedial / corrective repairs.

Continuous Improvement of the Asset Maintenance Plan including value-added preventive maintenance tasks focusing on: utilization of predictive and other non-destructive testing methodologies, lubrication practices, tools to drive operator asset management, and comprehensive training plans for maintenance employees.

Review major equipment/systems failures using formal investigative tools and develop and implement PM/PDM tasks to minimize or eliminate unplanned failures.

Work closely with the Operations Training Coordinator to develop and ensure consistency of training.

Develop Standard Repair Procedures (SRP's) in conjunction with other Maintenance supervisory personnel to continue to improve the uniformity and quality of maintenance repairs.

Oversee administration of the apprentice training program.
