Responsibilities
Ensure Static Equipment Integrity throughout Dyno Nobel Americas operations.
Oversee the static equipment programs including regulatory and internal standards compliance and implementation.
Live and foster the IPL Corporate Values.
Demonstrate and/or lead the commitment to the pursuit of achieving Zero Harm through behavioral based safety. Ensure all safety rules are being completed.
Supports Business Improvement initiatives and ensures participation from all areas of responsibility.
Serve as the Static Equipment technical authority for DNA – participate and aid in facilitating the global static equipment community of practice.
Provide direct engineering support for static equipment issues requiring escalation beyond site level resources.
Oversee and provide support for failure investigation/root cause analysis.
Advise on updates to existing standards and creation of new standards (both regional and global).
Engage with site and regional resources as a technical subject matter expert.
Manage IDMS (Inspection data Management System) utilization for DNA – serve as SME for PCMS, provide user support as needed and interface with service provider to escalate issues.
Oversee continuous improvement initiatives with respect to IDMS, including evergreening of guidance documents, user training, and database audits.
Utilize available data sources to compile, analyze, and communicate health of overall static equipment program to relevant stakeholders.
Assure compliance to relevant external statutory regulation and internal engineering standards and communicate such requirements to the relevant stakeholders.
Work with sites to develop strategies to ensure compliance applicable Company HSE Performance Standards, as well as applicable acts and regulations.
Work with sites to develop strategies to ensure that all static equipment assets at the Plants have effective Reliability and Capability Life Plans and maintenance strategies.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in metallurgy, materials, mechanical, civil, manufacturing or chemical engineering or relevant field of study
5+ years of industry experience - including experience working directly for an owner/operator within the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical or explosives industry
Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player.
Some travel may be required up to 25%.
Preferred
Qualifications such as API 510, 570, 571, 579, 653 and 581 preferred
